Privacy notice
NATURAL CLEAN JERSEY LTD, trading as Natural Clean Jersey, is the data controller. Our registered office is Flat 7, Vue Du Moulin Farm, La Rue Du Pont, St. Ouen, Jersey, JE3 2DX. Privacy and customer enquiries may be sent to shoporders@naturalcleanjersey.com.
Information we use
- Name, email, optional phone number, Jersey delivery address and optional delivery note
- Cart contents, products, quantities, prices, discounts, order, delivery, return, refund and customer-service records
- Worldpay references, amount, currency and payment status—but not full card details
- Transactional email delivery and failure status
- Limited IP-derived abuse signals, technical, security and administrator audit information
- Opaque cart, order-access and administrator cookie identifiers
Why we use it
We use information where needed to take requested pre-contract steps, administer and fulfil the sales contract, provide customer service, meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations, and pursue proportionate legitimate interests in preventing abuse, securing the service, maintaining records and resolving disputes.
Payments and service providers
Card details are entered on Worldpay’s secure payment page and are not received or stored by NCJ. Railway hosts the application and database, Worldpay processes payments, Resend delivers transactional email, and Microsoft 365 receives staff order notifications and customer replies. Authorised staff may access only the information needed for their role. These providers may process information outside Jersey; NCJ uses the applicable service contracts and transfer safeguards.
MadeKind fulfilment
Automatic supplier fulfilment is not enabled, so customer delivery data is not currently sent to MadeKind by this shop. Where MadeKind fulfils a qualifying order, NCJ shares only the customer, delivery and qualifying item information needed for that fulfilment. NCJ-stock customer data is not shared merely because MadeKind is also a shop supplier.
Retention and security
- Paid order, refund, tax and payment-reference records: at least six years after the accounting period to which they relate
- Unconverted carts: 30 days
- Abandoned unpaid orders: anonymised after 90 days
- Transactional email metadata: 12 months
- Security and administrator audit logs: 24 months
- Customer-service correspondence: two years after closure
Records may be kept longer where necessary while a return, refund, complaint, payment dispute, security investigation or legal hold remains active.
Access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, server-side credentials, audit records and restricted order-access tokens reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, Jersey data-protection law may give rights to be informed, obtain access, correct information, request erasure or restriction, object, and receive portable information. Some rights are limited where records must be retained. Contact us using the email above to exercise a right. You may also complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner.
